Family Camp Overview

Family camp is the centerpiece of the summer for many Kahquah families. Offering time to grow in friendships, faith and unity, family camp is a one-of-a-kind experience that cannot be reproduced in other settings.

When families were asked “what factors do you consider when deciding where you spend your family vacation?” the following criteria were mentioned:

  • Price
  • Travelling distance from home
  • Prefer a natural setting
  • Something for every family member to enjoy
  • A place to better connect as a family
  • New experiences
  • A place where we are all disconnected from media
  • A vacation destination where we can also connect with Grandparents and extended family

Based on this list, Camp Kahquah’s Family Camp should be your first choice for a family vacation. We satisfy all of these criteria along with:

  • A place to learn and grow as parents
  • Opportunities for all family members to grow in their faith
  • An environment where your kids are cared for by young adults who share your values as a parent
