Mission

Camp Kahquah exists to evangelize and spiritually nurture people of all ages through a year round program of Christian camps and retreats.

Vision

Camp Kahquah strives to operate well maintained and appropriate facilities in an exceptional natural setting in which children and adults will be drawn into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ while enjoying outstanding, healthy, fun filled activities with family and friends.

History

Camp Kahquah was established in 1962 by the Canadian Conference of the Brethren in Christ Church in order to provide a site for a children’s camp. At that time, it was operated by shareholders who met annually to review and direct. Summer children’s camping programs began in July of that year followed by the development of facilities adequate for campers of all ages as well as for fall and winter retreats. In 1987, Camp Kahquah’s 25th Anniversary year, the Camp was registered as a charitable organization after the Conference acquired all shares. Today, Camp Kahquah is a non-profit, comprehensive Christian camping ministry that serves hundreds of people throughout the year.
