KUBBIES

Kubbies is a unique version of our traditional Kids Camp, specially designed for younger campers. Kubbies provides the opportunity for both child and parent to attend camp together. Campers are introduced to the fun of summer camp during their stay including a number of activities they can participate in alongside new friends and their parents. Kubbies and their parents are sure to have the time of their lives! (Kubbies runs alongside NOVA.)

NOVA

NOVA is where the Kahquah excitement begins! As our youngest independent children’s camping program, Nova features full-throttle, fast-paced fun, with classic camp-wide games and popular programming options such as tubing, crafts, and the ropes course. Nova is sure to leave campers loving Kahquah and wanting more.

QUEST

Founded upon all the great experiences campers know and love, QUEST takes everything to the next level. New and increasingly challenging activity options, mixed together with games and favourite campfire traditions, catapult QUEST campers into a week of non-stop fun for all.

BLAZE

The awesome times don’t stop as campers move on to BLAZE! With more extensive activity options geared towards advanced skill levels, a longer daily schedule, and more challenging night games, campers will love the energy-packed programming unique to this specific week of camp. Light the spark and burn all the way into a great week of Kahquah action, Blaze style!

SUMMIT

SUMMIT is the pinnacle of campers’ Kahquah experience. With loads of never-before-seen activities geared specifically towards junior high-aged campers, SUMMIT is jam-packed with great times including our highest skill major levels, surprise challenges, and crazy camp-wide games played only during this week. Don’t miss the high point of the summer. Make the trek to SUMMIT!

ACTIVITY MAJORS

Blaze and Summit Day Camps are designed specifically for our oldest campers, offering a unique opportunity to build skills and confidence by focusing on one primary activity throughout the week. Each camper chooses one activity major to dive into daily, allowing time for growth and progress—while still enjoying a rotating schedule of other camp activities for a well-rounded experience. Major options are listed below.

High Ropes

Take on exciting aerial challenges on the high ropes course, where campers climb, balance, and work as a team to conquer obstacles — building confidence and trust in a safe, supportive environment.

Volleyball or Archery

Choose volleyball to sharpen teamwork, coordination, and game strategy on the court, or opt for archery to learn proper safety, stance, and precision as you aim for your target.

Wilderness

Explore the outdoors through hiking, nature discovery, and hands-on wilderness skills that build confidence, curiosity, and a deeper connection to the natural world.

Art

Focus on a small number of art projects over the course of the week. Work step-by-step on creative builds, exploring materials, technique, and craftsmanship as you bring a finished piece to life.

Water Sports

Take to the lake for high-energy fun behind a motorboat, with activities like waterskiing, kneeboarding, and wakeboarding on. Build skill and confidence on the water with supportive coaching and safe, thrilling rides.

Kayaking or Canoeing

Choose kayaking for solo paddling fun and balance skills on the water, or pick canoeing for teamwork, stroke technique, and the classic camp paddling experience — both offer great ways to enjoy nature and build confidence on the water.
