Kids Day Camp – Camp Kahquah

CAMP KAHQUAH is excited to offer a Kids Day Camp, running every week in July!

Day Campers enjoy the same incredible daytime programming as our overnight campers, then head home each evening to relax and recharge.

We offer four unique day camp programs for children and youth ages 6–15. Each program runs Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:30pm and includes a nutritious lunch each day. Families may also choose early drop-off for an additional fee of $62 for the week.

FULL CAMP ADVENTURE DURING THE DAY, AND THE COMFORT OF HOME AT NIGHT.

Participants will take part in a wide range of classic camp activities, including: high and low ropes courses, archery, water sports, arts & crafts, hiking and outdoor exploration, chapel, and so much more!

Week One, Ages 6-11

Nova

NOVA kicks off the Kahquah experience for our youngest campers, combining fast-paced fun with camp favourites like tubing, crafts, the ropes course, and more.

Week Two, Ages 9-12

Quest

QUEST builds on everything campers love about Kahquah, taking the experience to the next level. With new and more challenging activities, QUEST delivers a week of non-stop fun.

Week 3, Ages 10-13

Blaze

BLAZE keeps the momentum going with advanced activity options and the chance to develop skills in an activity major. This high-energy week delivers programming designed to fuel an unforgettable Kahquah experience.

Week 4, Ages 12-15

Summit

SUMMIT is the pinnacle of the Kahquah experience for junior high campers, featuring exclusive activities, our highest skill majors, and surprise challenges offered only this week. Don’t miss the high point of the summer.

ACTIVITY MAJORS

Blaze and Summit Day Camps are designed specifically for our oldest campers, offering a unique opportunity to build skills and confidence by focusing on one primary activity throughout the week. Each camper chooses one activity major to dive into daily, allowing time for growth and progress—while still enjoying a rotating schedule of other camp activities for a well-rounded experience. Major options are listed below.

High Ropes

Take on exciting aerial challenges on the high ropes course, where campers climb, balance, and work as a team to conquer obstacles — building confidence and trust in a safe, supportive environment.

Volleyball or Archery

Choose volleyball to sharpen teamwork, coordination, and game strategy on the court, or opt for archery to learn proper safety, stance, and precision as you aim for your target.

Wilderness

Explore the outdoors through hiking, nature discovery, and hands-on wilderness skills that build confidence, curiosity, and a deeper connection to the natural world.

Art

Focus on a small number of art projects over the course of the week. Work step-by-step on creative builds, exploring materials, technique, and craftsmanship as you bring a finished piece to life.

Water Sports

Take to the lake for high-energy fun behind a motorboat, with activities like waterskiing, kneeboarding, and wakeboarding. Build skill and confidence on the water with supportive coaching and safe, thrilling rides.

Kayaking or Canoeing

Choose kayaking for solo paddling fun and balance skills on the water, or pick canoeing for teamwork, stroke technique, and the classic camp paddling experience — both offer great ways to enjoy nature and build confidence on the water.
